Andrea (the lab manager) is awesome. I must confess. Any "wingeing" you hear from Brady Haran about how long this collab took is 100% true. We filmed this 4 years ago (!). He's bugged me to publish it every two months or so, so as a way to express my sincere apology I'd like to humbly request that you go watch his video and consider subscribing on Objectivity. Also, if you do so, please leave a comment about how it was worth the wait and he should quit his wingeing. Here's his video. (I didn't know about the Genesis Rock!) it-stream.com/stream/video-yvhLBzsDwSQ.html Also check out Joe Hanson's video! it-stream.com/stream/video-Qr28zMXQ3bU.html

I know why you didn't put it up. Conspiracy. "Moon Rock" Suggest brought back from the Moon. And frankly, Bart Sibrel has caught them lying about it. Faking halfway to it because traveling through radiation isn't possible. So to say any was brought back is preposterous.

And then one day NASA gifts a "moon rock" that turns out to be petrified wood when that rock is inspected and analized more closely.

    8 giorni fa
  • seigeengine
    seigeengine

@Wizard Of Doom Well, it was a real piece of petrified wood, but it was never a moon rock sample in the first place. What happened was during one of the Apollo tours, an American ambassador gave an unrelated gift of some petrified wood to the ex-PM of the Netherlands. Years later, that ex-PM died, and his family donated the rock to an art museum. At some point between the giving and the art museum having it, somebody confused it for being a moon rock. and the art museum didn't bother confirming it. This entire story doesn't actually make sense because the moon rock samples given out were very strictly defined. They were tiny samples encased in an... acrylic? Something like acrylic, bubble on a wooden plaque. In contrast, the petrified wood was a much much larger bare lump of rock with no special display. In addition, the real moon rock samples given to the Netherlands were given to the Queen, not an ex-PM.

It's a lie. The petrified wood was actually a private gift from an American ambassador to the ex-PM of the Netherlands. The gift was during the Apollo tours, but everything else is wrong. The moon rock samples given to the Netherlands was given to the Queen, for example, and are tiny, encased in resin, and mounted on a plaque. The petrified wood is just a large lump of rock. Eventually, that ex-PM died, and his family ended up donating the rock to an art museum, which displayed it without doing anything to really confirm whether it was real. At some point it got confused for a moon rock. Eventually some knowledgeable people realized what it was, and convinced the museum to actually have it tested.

So i just figured out something. You know how they say that anywhere else than earth, the time moves faster, right? So if on earth the time is the most compact and anywhere else its way faster. Doesnt that mean that earth is in the center of the universe? Because its the most compact space. Think of a disc or a plate. The middle of the plate spins the slowest while the outside spins faster. There is probably a different explanation for This that i dont know. Am I right or is there a different reason

No you didn't, but okay. No, they don't. No. You're probably getting confused about relativity. Which part I'm not quite sure. I'd guess you're getting confused about time dilation in space travel, but you haven't really given enough to be sure.
